Two months have passed since the restaurant Fat Boys Kitchen Colombo (465/3, Buthgamuwa Cross Road, Welikada, 10107) opened in the Rajagiriya district of Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte, the capital of Sri Lanka.

Ceylon Fat Boys is a joint food and beverage business of twin owners Pubudu and Sanka Madushan, who run a real estate and construction business. Based in Galle, southwest Sri Lanka, the company operates a juice brand, a restaurant, and a food truck, and this is their first move into the Colombo metropolitan area. Initially, the restaurant only offered takeout and delivery services, but in July, it opened a dine-in space.

The menu, based on the concept of “Taste of Ceylon,” includes traditional Kottu with various ingredients (from 900 rupees), Biryani served in clay pots (from 1,200 rupees), Mutton Curry Wrap (1,950 rupees), Black Pepper Chicken Noodles (1,750 rupees), Tuna Steak (2,150 rupees), and more. Burgers, pasta, pizza, and fried rice are also available.

The dessert lineup also features items popular in Sri Lanka, such as Chocolate Biscuit Pudding, Chocolate Cheesecake, and Brownies.

Opening hours: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Delivery is available by phone, Pick Me Food, and Uber Eats.
