A tourist souvenir store Celebrate Lotus Colombo opened on March 30 on the first floor of the Colombo Lotus Tower (AC6, Colombo 01), a radio tower and skyscraper complex.

The facility, whose motif is based on Sri Lanka’s national flower, the lotus, opened on the shores of Lake Beira on September 15, 2022. At 356 meters tall, it is currently the tallest building in Sri Lanka and South Asia. In addition to functioning as a broadcasting and communications tower, the building has facilities, such as banquet halls, a shopping mall, a hotel with suites, restaurants, a museum, and event venues. The revolving restaurant on the 6th floor offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the city of Colombo.

Products offered at the store include miniature Lotus Towers of various sizes, mugs, totes, T-shirts, and stationery, printed with the towers and the Colombo cityscape. The lineup also includes skincare products containing extracts from Sri Lankan herbs and plants.

Opening hours: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. (until 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays). Admission to the Lotus Tower is 500 rupees for Sri Lankans and 20 US dollars (about 7,200 rupees) for foreigners.
