Multi-cuisine restaurant opens in Bambalapitiya, Colombo, featuring domestic organic spices

It has been a month since Sub Dine (302, Galle Road, Colombo 04) opened in the Bambalapitiya, Colombo.

The restaurant, which previously operated in Wellampitiya, had its grand opening on April 18. The new restaurant has a modern design with beige and dark wood as its base tones and denim blue as an accent color. Table and booth seating are available, and tropical ornamental plants are arranged throughout. It does not use MSG or artificial additives in its ingredients and uses carefully selected organic spices from Sri Lanka.

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes from Sri Lankan, Indian, American, Arabic, and Chinese cuisines. The classic Sri Lankan Kottu is available in egg, vegetable, chicken, beef, seafood, and mixed, and variations such as cheese, masala, and dolphin are also on the lineup. Curries include chicken, beef korma, butter chicken, beef masala, and paneer. There is also a large selection of rice and noodle dishes, including fried rice, biryani, string hopper biryani, Mongolian noodles, and mie goreng. The restaurant also offers pasta, burgers, club sandwiches, submarine sandwiches, shawarma, and more, ranging in price from 600 to 2,190 rupees.

Drinks include juice in various flavors, mocktails, milkshakes, masala tea, and specials, such as iced coffee and almond date smoothies.
