The Ayurvedic treatment center Adhitya Ayurveda Colombo (82 Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 03) opened on June 29 in Kollupitiya, Colombo.

Adhitya Ayurveda manages the facility. The company previously opened an Ayurveda center and accommodation facility in the ancient city of Anuradhapura in central Sri Lanka in 2019. It has been offering treatments and programs that combine Ayurveda with traditional Sri Lankan folk medicine Hela Wedakama. Adhitya Ayurveda also operates Adhitya Herbal Estate, an organic farm of medicinal herbs and vegetables, and yoga retreats at the foothills of Sri Lanka’s highest peak, Mount Pidurutalagala.

The new facility in Colombo provides Ayurvedic treatments such as Shiro Basti, a treatment where medicated oil is retained on the head; Sarvanga Abhyanga, a full-body massage; and Snana, a sudation treatment. They also offer sessions on yoga and meditation, sports therapy, and beauty care. Lifestyle guidance is available for learning how to incorporate Ayurveda into daily life.

The facility also houses a restaurant Healthy Food Corner and a shop HELAYU Organic Herbal Product Outlet. Healthy Food Corner serves organic dishes made with vegetables and herbs from their own farm. The store sells self-care products from its sister company, Adhitya Herbal Products, including skin lotions, creams, soaps, herbal supplements, and Ayurvedic tea.
