First Friends Campus, higher education institution, establishes new location in Colombo

On August 14, the Colombo campus (No.1, Galle Road, Colombo 04) of the private higher education institution First Friends Campus was inaugurated in Bambalapitiya, Colombo.
Established in 2011 as a Montessori School based in the ancient city of Kandy in central Sri Lanka, the institution expanded its scope in 2017, specializing in fields such as medicine, engineering, technology, teacher training, and hospitality, all under the motto of “Educating Global Citizens for a Changing World.” Currently, it has partnerships with 86 universities from 23 countries, including the University of Chichester and Trinity College London (both from the UK) and Lincoln University College (Malaysia). It offers a wide range of programs that lead to bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The Colombo campus is the second location.
The main courses offered include specialized modules for teacher training, such as Pre-School Method of Education, Montessori Method of Education, Educational Psychology, Special Needs Education, Teaching Methodology, as well as Business Management, Basic IT (Technical Training), First Aid, Social Etiquette & Grooming, Interview Preparation, and more. Online courses are also available.
Various forms of support are provided for studying abroad, including preparation courses for standardized tests, such as IELTS and TOEFL for language proficiency, GRE for pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees in North America, SAT for university admissions, and GMAT for MBA programs.
