A pasta dish at Tea Avenue

Tea Avenue, a café chain specialized in tea, opened a new branch on Pepiliyana Street in Boralasgamuwa, a suburb of Colombo, this March.

The café chain was established in 2014 by De Silva & Sons, a tea company founded in 1936. Besides seven outlets in Colombo, it currently has cafés in One Galle Face Mall, Wattala, and Kotte, and also in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

As it is owned by a tea company, it offers a wide variety of teas. Their extensive menu includes: Premium Golden Tips, Silver Tips, Milk Tea, Earl Grey, and various flavored teas. You can also enjoy chai, tea lattes, herbal infusions, and iced teas. Prices range from 300 rupees to 700 rupees.

As for food, they serve all-day breakfast items, such as pancakes and waffles, and pasta, burgers, sandwiches, and soups for lunch. For sweet treats, tiramisu, carrot cake, pineapple cake, red velvet cake, Oreo cheesecake, and cookies are available.

Opening hours: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. (Until 1:00 a.m. on Saturdays and midnight on Sundays)
