Royal Biriyani & BBQ relocates to Marine Drive – Offering biriyani as its signature dish

It has been four months since Royal Biriyani & BBQ, a Pakistani restaurant in Colombo, relocated to a new location along Marine Drive in the Wellawatta area.

Formerly located on Rajasinghe Road in the same district, the new restaurant opened on April 30 and has 13 tables with a capacity of 60 people. It specializes in Sindhi Karachi Cuisine from Pakistan. Ahmed Raza, the assistant manager, said: “We use only the freshest natural ingredients. Customers can enjoy the unique taste and quality.”

The menu features six types of biryani, including Chicken Biryani (Rs.550), Beef Biryani (Rs.670), and Mutton Biryani (Rs.890). Besides biriyani, it also offers Chicken BBQ (Rs.480) and curries such as Chicken Achari (Rs.500) and Beef Kurma (Rs.550). The dessert lineup includes Chocolate Mousse and Sri Lankan pudding Watalappam, priced from 100 rupees to 450 rupees.

The restaurant accepts delivery orders by phone and PickMe Food. Ahmed added: “We also offer limited-time combo deals and will be adding new dishes to our menu shortly. The food we serve is made with the experience and expertise of our chefs. Come and enjoy!”
