Global consulting firm EY GDS to open office in WTC in Colombo Fort

On April 5, EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS), a global consulting firm, signed an agreement to set up an office in the World Trade Center (WTC), a commercial complex in the Colombo Fort area.
The company provides innovative and strategic business solutions based on digital technology. The EY GDS operates in 19 cities in eight countries, including Argentina, China, India, and the United Kingdom, in four main areas: consulting, assurance, law, tax and transaction services.
The new office in the WTC will offer services focused on technology, business consulting, and auditing. The company plans to hire people with next-generation and emerging technologies and skillsets, including Cloud, Big Data, AI/ML, Cyber, Data and Analytics, and Chartered Accountants.
It looks to increase its workforce in Sri Lanka to 1,000 employees by 2025 and will work to create various career opportunities that evolve with industry trends.
