Sancharaka Udawa 2023, an exhibition for the travel and tourism industry, will be held on May 19 and 20 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre (Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07).

Co-organized by the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, the event is the largest travel and tourism trade fair in the country. It was first held in 2011 to provide a venue for those involved in the tourism industry to network and showcase their products and services. This year’s event, the 10th, will feature approximately 200 exhibitors, including small and medium-sized tourism service providers from various regions.

Exhibitors include hotels, guesthouses, other lodging facilities, airlines, vehicle services, and other service providers such as wildlife attractions, indoor and outdoor entertainment, sports and outdoor activities, event and conference organizers, and travel agencies. There will also be events and workshops for the general public at the venue.

More than 10,000 visitors are expected, and the association hopes that the event will provide an opportunity to gain insight into the latest trends in the tourism industry.

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free.
